Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two alleged killers, who were said to be involved in 25 murders, from Orangi Town area. According to the officials, an AVCC team on a tip-off conducted raid at Mansoor Nagar area located in Orangi Town and detained two persons with huge quantity of weapons and high explosive. SSP Niaz Khoso said the accused persons during initial course of investigation confessed of murdering some 25 persons. Further investigation was underway.

Similarly, Sharafi Goth police took three persons Rehmat Ali, Salman and Qamar Hussain into custody and recovered two pistols and looted amount from their possession. Police said they were street criminals and were arrested on the information of pedestrians. Legal proceedings were initiated against them.
